FLAGG TAKEN

Cooper Flagg is making headlines as the Dallas Mavericks' No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. The 18-year-old basketball sensation was honored with "Cooper Flagg Day" in his home state of Maine, with Governor Janet Mills praising his extraordinary talent, dedication, and sportsmanship.

Flagg's impressive college career at Duke, where he averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game, has generated high expectations for his NBA debut. He's expected to take on a significant role with the Mavericks, potentially starting alongside Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, and Dereck Lively II.

The Mavericks' coaching staff, including Jason Kidd, is excited about Flagg's versatility and potential to play multiple positions. With Flagg on board, the team is looking to rebuild and compete at a high level, following the trade of Luka Dončić to the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this year.
